IMPACT
By establishing fair and direct trade relationships, FECCEG’s small producers improve the quality of life for their families and communities, contributing to rural development in Guatemala.

The word KISHÉ comes from the Maya K’iche’ language of Guatemala and reflects the cultural richness and connection to traditions, composed of the following words: KI’ = Sweet, CHE’ = Tree or Forest For us, it is defined as: SWEET FOOD FROM THE FOREST, blending sweetness and nature.
Kishé has been the commercial brand of the Federación Comercializadora de Café Especial de Guatemala (FECCEG) for over a decade. Under the Kishé brand, FECCEG markets coffee, honey, propolis, pollen, and panela, all certified organic, for both national and international markets.
More than 1,550 families of Mam, Kiché, Kakchikel, Ixil, Q’eqchí, Achí, and Poqomchí origin, associated with FECCEG, market specialty coffees in Guatemala and in differentiated markets in Europe, Asia, and North America.
Through the establishment of fair and direct trade relationships, FECCEG’s small producers improve the quality of life for their families and communities, contributing to rural development in Guatemala. Since 2010, FECCEG’s producer families have been meeting the international demand for specialty coffees, bridging the gap between producers and specialty coffee enthusiasts who seek quality, unique flavor profiles, sustainability, traceability, and a story to discover.
Reserva El Vergel is an experimental farm that emerged from FECCEG’s need for a place to test the effectiveness of our organic practices while providing a natural paradise.
Located in Guatemala also serves as an ecological center featuring the Kishé restaurant, which offers a range of delicious dishes to enjoy, Kishé Coffee Shop with our specialty organic coffee, and cozy lodging in our inviting cabins.
